Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Vietnam Edition

If you're a Bad Company Fan, and you're used to Iron Sights, don't go anywhere, 'cause I'm gonna' take you to an in-depth description of Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Vietnam Edition. Okay. So we all know the story: Communism bad, Democracy butt in, Democacy win. Right? Wrong. Democracy lost. But that doesn't mean you can't still have fun shooting Charlie (Pardon this slang terminology) aka NVA. If you're a Black Ops fan, I suggest you leave now, 'cause this next piece of info might disappoint you. The Bad Company Series has definitely made its way up the corporate ladder. With player-oriented gameplay, stunning graphics, and a ton of weapon customizations, Battlefield has taken our hearts once again. Now further adeu, here is the in-depth description of the CCR era of gaming:

There are small components of this game criticism:

I: a. Weapons
   b. Vehicles
   c.Maps
II: a. Teamwork
    b. Weapon Debuts
    c. A persuasive note.

Let's start off with Weapons

There are four classes in Battlefield: Vietnam

-Assault: The front line infantry. First to come, last to leave.
-Engineer: Vehicular saints, and quick-thinking weapons.
-Medic: The one to rely on in a "hot-spot".
-Sniper/Marksman: An eye in the sky. Sorta'.

So let's begin with ASSAULT:

With reliable two-handed burst, semis, and full-autos, the machinegun will never become outdated.

-M16:Unlike its modern counterparts, this 'M' series weapon is fully automatic
-M14:Designed for pilots of the Vietnam-era, this fully-automatic rifle has the highest power in the assault class
-M1:Father of the 'M14 EBR', this semi-automatic WWII rifle is sturdy, powerful, and reliable
-M1A1:Submachine gun of WWII, this fires fast, and has easy Iron Sights
-AK-47:Russian-Produced weapon. Seen since the Cold War, it is used by Ultranationalists all over the world.
-M79 "Bloob Tube":Grenade-launching 'Thumper'.

So now onto ENGINEER:

-MAC10: American PDF; Awkward Iron Sights
-Uzi: Israeli PDF; high rate of fire
-PPSh: Russian Drum-mag submachine gun, great Iron Sights
-RPG-7: Rocket Propelled Grenade

MEDICs have the most responsibility on the frontline. Not only do they have to revive fallen team-mates, they lay down suppresing fire for cover. So without further adeu, here they are:

-M60: Very reliable, high powered American LMG. Iron Sights are a Love it/Hate it situation.
-RPK: 7.62mm Russian LMG designed to replace outdated RPD.
-XM22: In family of the Stoner 63, very easy Iron Sights, high rate of fire

And lastly, the Marksman/Recon Kit:

-M21: American standard-issue rifle; semi-auto; medium peripheral
-SVD: Russian standard issue; semi-auto, no peripheral
-M40: High-powered Bolt-action rifle; very good peripheral

But wait! That's not all there is. We forgot about the ALL-KIT weapons:

-M2 'Flamethrower': Since WWII, this fire-breathing death machine fires flames up to 200 feet away.
-870 Combat Shotgun: Pump-action shotgun. Need I say more?
-TT-33 Tokarov: Russian 17-round sidearm
-M1911 Colt .45: Most reliable sidearm in history. Period.
-M1A1 (see Assault)

Okay, now that that's helped you, let's get on to the Vehicles

There's only one helicopter, so let's get on to describing that:
Helicopters:

-Bell Huey H-1: Since the Korean Conflict, these warhogs have been dominating up until Desert Storm, when the UH-60 Blackhawk came in. Mounted with either .50caliber M60 Machine guns, M1919 Brownings, or an XM214 7.62x45mm 'Microgun', the Huey provides close range air support for infantry units. Landing gear consists of skis, as well as ability to hold dual Rocket Pods on Port/Starboard sides.

Cars:

-M15A: American Utility Vehicle, "Jeep"
-GAZ69: Vietnamese civilian car armed with mounted gun
-Minitruck: Personal Transport. Weak; slow speed

Armour:

-M48: American Vietnam-era MBT (Main Battle Tank)
-T54: Similar to M48, Russian made MBT.

Naval:

-MKII PBR: PT Boat armed  with 3 mounted weapons: A 50mm Auto-Cannon, .50Caliber Turret, and rear turret.

Next is the most important key of the game: Maps

There are 4 maps in Vietnam, but technically, there are 5, but we'll talk about that later:

-Phu Bai: Open, flat farmland. Only non-exclusive map with Huey H-1
-Hill '137': Known as "Hamburger Hill" for its gory events; jungle rotten with flames and dead trees
-Vantage Point: Misty, humid terraces scattered across jungles and village
-Cao Son Temple: Ancient Vietnamese temple; great for CQB, but seperated from village by jungle

Exclusive:
-Operation Hastings: Only obtained from having that system's members get a total of 69 Million squad acts i.e. Revives, Ammo boxes, Mortars, and Repairs.

Want some boring info? I know you don't, but I have to for those w/o Vietnam DLCs.
